The Rotary motto is "Service above Self," and members are encouraged to take an interest in the concerns of
our community and in the special needs of individuals. Beyond our local activities, we are all members of Rotary Intenational
which connects us to more than 31,000 other Rotary clubs throughout the world.
Rotary International promotes world understanding, health and peace through programs such as, Safe Water (water well
construction), Polio Plus (eradication of polio, world wide by 2005), Jaipur Foot project (artificial limbs for those injured
by land mines) and Youth Exchange, both inbound and outbound, with teens from countries around the world.
